YumYum Cake
A classic fruit and nut loaf-style cake filled with sultanas, currants, cherries, and walnuts – a comforting bake perfect with tea.

Ingredients
- 175 g Currants
- 175 g Sultanas
- 75 g Glacé cherries
- 75 g Walnuts, chopped
- 300 g Sugar
- 200 g Self-raising flour
- 2 pcs Eggs
- 250 g Butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 140°C (fan) to 160°C (conventional).
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- Stir in the flour, then fold in the currants, sultanas, cherries, and walnuts.
- Pour the mixture into a lined loaf or cake tin.
- Bake for 60 to 90 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the tin before turning out.
